What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny
fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to
participate will write a five sentence story based on the inspiration word. The
word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just take your inspiration
from that word.
This week’s inspiration word is: HORROR
I look forward to reading everyone's five sentences. Post your sentences on
your blog, and link up your post below. Once you've posted, be sure to check
out the other posts. Any feedback on Five Sentence Fiction is welcome!
I don't write Horror, so I'm sure my stab would be a huge flop. Great idea though!
ReplyDeleteI don't write horror - the genre - either, but I'm going with "horror" as in the emotion, which can occur over something that isn't necessarily gruesome, yeah?
ReplyDeleteDefinitely Sif! I don't do horror either, but I thought it went with Halloween. I just thought horror could be different things to differnt people :)
ReplyDeleteI'm back! I apologise for being AWOL the previous 2 weeks - we had been struck down with sickness and writing just didnt happen here! Hopefully I can keep up from here on in!
ReplyDeletegreat prompt this week! I don't write horror, but gave it a go (I apologise if my entry is too graphic) in hindsight I probably could have come up with some better descriptives but it is late and I am being slack tonight - anyway it got me writing and that is the main thing right?
look forward to reading yours!
Hi Kate, I wasn't able to get into you blog, it said my email login didn't have access?
ReplyDeleteHi all, I stuffed up my link so thank you all for telling me!! I've reposted above for anyone else who wants to drop by - Lillie - can you delete post 3 - I can't do it this end cos the little "cross" isn't there?
ReplyDeleteThanks and see you next week
Kate
This is my first week with Five Sentence Fiction, and I think it is great! Thanks so much for the prompt, I had fun, went with Halloween but not horror...
ReplyDeleteClaire
This is an interesting idea. I've checked out some of the examples and I like it. Very appropriate for the time of year.
ReplyDeleteHorror is not normally my genre either, so I decided to write about my normal genre which has enough real life horror of its own!
