Taking Flight

This is the only poem I've ever attempted. When I was in college, it was published in our literary magazine. I use poem loosly because it is a craft I've never honed. Enjoy!

Wildly wandering wherever the wind flows.
Firm foundations further from grasp blows .
Meaning muddled by manic material phases.
Savvy soul searching surfaces melancholic faces.
Bravely blundering burdened by inescapable disgraces.
Learning life leaves lesions only love replaces.
